Copernic 2000 allows users to find exactly what they want on the Internet by simultaneously accessing search engines on the Web. It now provides the means to target searches on more than 65 search engines grouped into seven categories. While it is working, this intelligent agent is also programmed to filter out and eliminate repeat documents found on more than one engine. It also offers detailed search histories so that found documents can be viewed, downloaded or refined at any time. It produces a report in Web page format, providing the means to rapidly and efficiently access Web documents through use of hyperlinks.
Copernic 2000 can also automatically eliminate outdated documents and download documents selected for consultation at any time. The software and its search engines are updated automatically via the Internet.
Copernic 2000 Plus is a more advanced version of Copernic 2000. It provides the means to target searches on more than 400 search engines grouped into 50 specialized categories.
Copernic 2000 Pro is the professional version of Copernic 2000. This more advanced version allows the user to schedule a search so that it is executed automatically on a regular basis. Copernic 2000 Pro can send a search report to the user, via e-mail, on the new documents found during the automatic searches. The software also offers the option of automating operations such as validation of results, downloading of documents, and refining searches, allowing the user to save a great deal of time and energy. A spellchecker is also integrated into the professional version.
